Senior Performance Marketing Lead – Freelance

Contract: Initial 2 months
Rate: Up to £380 per day – Outside IR35
Location: London – 2 day per week onsite

Pivotal are looking for an experienced Senior Performance Marketing Lead to join a well-known UK consumer business on an initial 2-month freelance contract.

This is a highly hands-on performance marketing role, taking ownership of acquisition activity across PPC and Paid Social.

You'll be working across approximately £100k–£200k in monthly media spend, joining a fast-paced team that needs someone who can quickly understand existing activity, identify opportunities and start making an impact.

The role

• Hands-on management and optimisation across Google Ads and Paid Social
• Managing significant monthly acquisition budgets
• Optimising activity against CPA, CAC and wider acquisition objectives
• Identifying opportunities across the wider conversion funnel
• Developing and executing testing strategies across campaigns, audiences and creative
• Using performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improved efficiency
• Working closely with creative and internal stakeholders
• Providing strategic recommendations while remaining hands-on with execution

What we're looking for

• Strong hands-on experience across PPC and Paid Social
• Confident personally managing and optimising activity within Google Ads and Meta
• Experience within either B2B or B2C performance marketing
• Strong acquisition and/or lead-generation experience
• Experience managing significant paid media budgets
• Strong understanding of CPA, CAC, ROAS and conversion performance
• Experience with A/B testing across audiences, creative and campaign structures
• Comfortable working independently and getting up to speed quickly
• Available to start immediately or at short notice
