About the role
THE ROLE:
You will handle a varied and rewarding commercial disputes caseload, advising businesses, business owners and individuals on contentious matters including contractual, shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence, debt recovery, injunctive relief, and commercial property disputes.
Taking ownership of matters from instruction through to settlement or trial, you will draft key litigation documents, provide practical and commercially focused advice, and represent clients in mediation and settlement discussions. THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be an ambitious lawyer with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE and a strong grounding in commercial litigation. You will have excellent technical, analytical and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and a practical, commercial, and solutions-focused approach. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, along with confidence in dealing directly with clients, counsel, experts, and other professionals. You will be a collaborative team player who is keen to contribute to the continued success of the team, while also supporting business development, strengthening client relationships and developing referral networks.
THE FIRM:
Join a highly regarded Legal 500 firm offering autonomy, meaningful work, and genuine opportunities for career progression. You will benefit from clear expectations, open communication, and a supportive culture where your contribution is valued. The role provides the chance to work with ambitious businesses and individuals on high-quality matters, alongside opportunities for mentoring, professional development, and increased responsibility. With a strong focus on inclusion, collaboration, and long-term work-life balance, this is an excellent opportunity to build your career within a forward-thinking and supportive team.
