Business Tax Consulting Manager – Travel Based

Position Overview
We are partnering with a national advisory firm seeking an experienced Tax professional for a highly client-facing opportunity.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, travel, and working closely with clients and senior leadership on complex tax matters.
Key Responsibilities

Lead complex tax compliance and advisory engagements.
Provide tax planning, research, and advisory support.
Review federal, state, and other tax filings.
Manage client engagements, deadlines, and deliverables.
Mentor and support junior tax professionals.
Assist with tax audits and special projects.

Travel

Significant travel required while working on client engagements.
Work with clients across the United States.
Engagements can provide the opportunity to become closely integrated with client teams.
Travel arrangements and incentives provided based on engagement requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
Strong public accounting or tax advisory background.
Experience with complex tax engagements and multiple entity types.
Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Willingness to travel for extended client engagements.
