We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join a rapidly expanding Tax Consultancy team in Glasgow. Responsibilities in your new role as Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager

You’ll act as the Tax Relationship Partner for a portfolio of existing clients, taking responsibility for building strong relationships and ensuring all client work is delivered effectively. You’ll prioritise workloads across the team, establish clear scopes and budgets for each project, and agree the work and associated fees with clients before assignments begin.


Throughout each engagement, you’ll monitor progress and maintain clear communication with both clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring work is delivered in line with agreed budgets, procedures and Tax Consultancy Service Line standards and risk requirements. You’ll also lead client closure discussions, identifying opportunities for additional work and referrals where appropriate.


Alongside your client responsibilities, you’ll play an active role in business development, building relationships, identifying new opportunities and contributing towards individual and team fee targets.


Your personality, experience and qualifications

You will be CTA qualified or hold an equivalent professional tax qualification, with a high level of technical expertise within their specialist area. You’ll be recognised as a thought leader in your field, with the credibility and knowledge to build a strong profile within the external marketplace and provide expert insight on complex tax matters.


A full UK driving licence is also required for this position.
