1:1 Learning Support Assistant Required in Dudley Primary Schools

Zest Education is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to work across a variety of welcoming primary schools in the Dudley area. This rewarding role involves providing tailored support to pupils who require additional assistance to access learning, helping them thrive both academically and socially within the classroom environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, SEN Support Staff, or individuals looking to build a career within education.

The Role

As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide dedicated support to an individual pupil with additional learning needs.
• Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to implement personalised learning strategies.
• Support the pupil’s academic, social, and emotional development.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and engagement in classroom activities.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or support setting.
• Have experience supporting pupils with SEN, Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or behavioural challenges (desirable but not essential).
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Are patient, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting young learners.
• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience (desirable).
• Have a genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
