Business Development Director – Technology Sales
Salary: £150,000 Base (Negotiable) | OTE + Full Benefits Package
Location: London / Hybrid

Selective Search — executive sales headhunters — are retained to identify a Business Development Director for a top-tier global technology services organisation. This is a senior individual contributor new business role for a genuine executive technology sales rainmaker.
The Role
You will own the full new business sales cycle — from market identification and demand generation through to commercial close — within a defined industry vertical or geographic territory.
- Generate and convert a pipeline of multi-million pound technology services opportunities
- Build new client relationships from cold through to long-term strategic partnerships
- Engage at CIO, CTO and Board level to position and close complex propositions
- Shape compelling solutions in partnership with Pre-Sales and Delivery teams
- Operate as a credible and visible ambassador in target markets
- Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets in a high-performance culture
What We Are Looking For
- Proven executive technology sales career with a major IT Services, Outsourcing or Consulting organisation
- Strong track record of new logo acquisition and complex deal closure
- Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Ability to build relationships and influence at the highest organisational levels
- Self-sufficient, entrepreneurial, and highly driven by results
