About the role
Core Trainee - General Surgery
Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Core Trainee (CT/F2 level) in General Surgery for a short evening locum shift at Belfast City Hospital (BCH), part of the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is a twilight shift on 30 October 2026, 18:00–20:30, at a £50/hr assignment rate.
The role involves providing junior surgical cover during the evening handover period at BCH, managing ward patients and contributing to the surgical take. You will work within the General Surgery department under consultant supervision.
Requirements include GMC registration with a licence to practise, CT or F2 level training with surgical experience, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, and professional indemnity insurance.
