As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking a Graduate Cost Manager/Surveyor in London to support their expanding portfolio of projects and play an integral role in the success of their cost management team.

ROLE

As a Graduate Cost Manager/Surveyor, you’ll support both pre- and post-contract stages of projects across a variety of sectors, gaining practical experience across all core areas of cost management.

You’ll assist in preparing cost plans, estimates, tender documents, valuations, and financial reports while learning from senior cost managers in a fast-paced, professional environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Graduate Cost Manager/Surveyor in London, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with cost estimating, cost planning, and budget preparation
Supporting the tendering process, including document preparation, analysis, and reporting
Assisting in contract administration, valuations, and cost reporting
Preparing and reviewing final accounts and project financial statements
Attending client and design team meetings to gain exposure to project delivery
Supporting senior cost managers across retail and commercial projects
Working proactively toward APC completion and RICS Chartership
PERSON

To be successful in this Graduate Cost Manager/Surveyor job in London, you will bring:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline (essential)
1-3 years’ post-graduate experience within a cost consultancy or contractor environment
Experience in pre- and post-contract work, including estimating, tendering, and reporting
Retail sector experience (preferred but not essential)
Strong numerical, analytical, and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CostX
A proactive, confident, and professional approach to work
Full UK driving licence
A genuine ambition to achieve RICS Chartership within the next two years
REMUNERATION

Package includes:
Competitive salary: £35,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)
Annual Individual Bonus Scheme based on performance
Hybrid Working (2 days at home / 3 days in office)
27 days Annual Leave (plus English Public Holidays), with 2 days to be taken between Christmas and New Year
Following successful completion of a 6-month probationary period:
6% Employer Pension Contribution

Death in Service (4 x Basic Salary)
RICS registration and APC fees paid
