Cleaner

We are seeking to appoint 2 hard-working cleaners to join our Facilities Team. Under the daily direction of the Caretaker, the successful candidate will provide a proactive and efficient cleaning service for King Edward VI Handsworth Grammar School for Boys.

Working under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor (or Caretaker), either as an individual or as part of a team, in the cleaning of a designated area within the school.

Responsibilities include;

Providing a clean, pleasant and welcoming environment in order to facilitate the effective teaching of pupils and its full use by those staff and pupils who occupy it.

Helping to maintain the fabric of school building.

Maintaining cleanliness in order to prevent any health risk from occurring in schools

12.50 hours per week, all year round

Position 1 Working hours: 6:00am - 8.30am, Monday to Friday (2.5 hours per day)

Position 2 Working hours: 3.00pm - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (2.5 hours per day)
