Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of fast-paced construction projects while maintaining strong professional relationships and providing consistent support. This role requires both technical expertise and commercial acumen to support the consultancy’s continued growth.

Responsibilities

Aa a Quantity Surveyor in Milton Keynes, your responsibilities will include:

Managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure seamless delivery and high client satisfaction
Collaborating closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and legal professionals for cohesive and timely project execution
Maintaining strong professional relationships and providing consistent support across key client accounts
Acting as the main point of contact for clients and design teams throughout all project phases
Supporting the senior leadership team in the planning and execution of construction initiatives
Delivering professional surveying services that meet both client expectations and company quality standards
Person

To be successful in this Quantity Surveyor job in Milton Keynes, you will bring experience working within a construction consultancy or main contractor and also demonstrate:

Prepare detailed cost plans, Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
Manage procurement processes and contract administration for major construction projects
Conduct valuations, prepare payment certificates and manage final accounts
Monitor and report on project financial performance and risk management
Lead negotiations with contractors and suppliers to ensure best value
Hold a BSc in Quantity Surveyor or a construction related degree
MRICS or working towards
Remuneration
