Salary: £30,500 per annum
Job Type: Temp to Permanent
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts)
Shift Pattern:
Week 1: 05:00am – 2:00pm
Week 2: 1:00pm – 10:00pm
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and established warehouse team in Bristol. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with warehouse and forklift experience who is looking for a long-term career.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring orders are picked accurately and dispatched on time. You will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, operating a forklift, and maintaining a safe and organised warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- Carrying out manual handling duties as required
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organised
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Forklift experience is required
- Expired or in-house forklift licences are accepted, as refresher training will be provided
- Own transport is essential due to shift times
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and good attention to detail
