About the role
Avencia are partnered with a well-established insurer who are looking to recruit an Underwriter in their Warranty & Indemnity team.
The team work across UK and European transactions, writing primary and excess business across a varied portfolio.
The team's flat structure and busy portfolio offer plenty of deal exposure, with the opportunity to take ownership early and learn from experienced underwriters.
The Role
Review submissions and draft NBIs.
Review due diligence reports and prepare underwriting questions.
Work on live deals from submission through to policy placement.
Build broker relationships and support portfolio growth.
Skills & Experience
Practical W&I experience in underwriting or broking.
A good understanding of how W&I deals are placed.
Experience working with submissions and NBIs.
Strong communication skills and confidence managing competing deadlines.
