Coventry, West Midlands (County) DCV Technologies Job Title: Blue Yonder WMS Developer Location: Coventry / Ansty Park Contract: 12 months Working Pattern: Hybrid – 1–2 days per week onsite Job Description We are looking for an experienced Blue Yonder WMS Developer to join a large-scale transformation programme, building scalable and robust warehouse management solutions. The successful candidate will design, develop, configure and customise solutions within Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS, including Oracle PL/SQL development, integration with external systems and optimisation of warehouse management processes. Responsibilities Design, develop and customise solutions within Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS. Develop packages and procedures using Oracle PL/SQL. Work with Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS and Manhattan/PKMS WMS applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate WMS solutions with existing IT infrastructure and warehouse environments. Gather, define and prioritise requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders and Product Owners. Review and maintain code using GitHub. Troubleshoot technical issues and minimise system downtime. Support system upgrades, patches and performance tuning. Support QA, UAT and deployment activities. Maintain technical documentation and provide user training where required. Essential Skills & Experience Knowledge of the retail business and logistics domain. Strong knowledge of Blue Yonder Dispatcher Warehouse Management System. Strong Oracle PL/SQL development background. Proficiency in SQL Server and database management. Experience with logistics and supply-chain applications. Knowledge of Manhattan/PKMS WMS applications. Knowledge of Gitbash and Unix Shell Scripting. Desirable Skills & Experience Good knowledge of WMS Discrete and Dispatcher. Strong end-to-end WMS knowledge. Ability to understand business processes and develop appropriate technical solutions.
