School Admin & Kitchen Support

Skelmersdale, Lancashire Bright Star Talent Limited Bright Star Talent are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Admin & Kitchen Support Assistant to work in a secondary school in Skelmersdale. This is a varied role, with the morning focused on general school administration before moving into the school canteen over lunchtime. Hours: 10:00am – 2:00pm Location: Skelmersdale Start: ASAP The Role From 10:00am – 12:00pm, you will support the school with general administrative duties, including: * Printing and photocopying documents * Preparing paperwork and resources * Filing and organising documents * Supporting staff with general admin tasks * Helping with day-to-day office duties as required From 12:00pm – 2:00pm, you will work within the school kitchen/canteen, helping the catering team during lunchtime. Duties will include: * Supporting with food preparation and serving * Handling food safely and following hygiene procedures * Keeping kitchen and serving areas clean and tidy * Supporting the catering team during busy lunchtime periods * Following the school's food safety and hygiene procedures at all times Requirements * DBS on the Update Service * Food Hygiene certificate * Previous experience in an admin, school, catering or kitchen environment would be beneficial * Good organisation and communication skills * Reliable and able to work as part of a team * Comfortable working across both administrative and kitchen duties * A professional approach when working around pupils and school staff This would suit someone who enjoys a varied role and is happy to split their day between school administration and supporting the catering team.
