The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Consultant in Stroke Medicine to support a service in Scotland.

This locum opportunity offers a long-term placement for 3 months, supporting an established stroke service through a combination of ward rounds, outpatient clinics, referrals, and specialist stroke care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver consultant-led care for stroke patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Lead ward rounds and contribute to multidisciplinary team decision-making
• Conduct stroke clinics and provide specialist assessments
• Review referrals and vet patients appropriately
• Participate in on-call duties as required
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and high standards of governance
• Support safe, effective, and patient-focused service delivery

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration
• Consultant-level experience in Stroke Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, or General Medicine
• Recent NHS experience
• Strong clinical leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
