The Opportunity

We are currently seeking Consultant Dermatologists to support a Dermatology service in the North West of England.

We have two immediate locum opportunities available, both offered on an initial 3-month contract with potential extension. These roles provide a varied mix of general dermatology, skin cancer pathways, minor operations, outpatient clinics, administration, MDT participation, and ward referral work.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Dermatology Consultants looking to join established clinical teams and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care within a busy NHS service.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality Dermatology care across outpatient, skin cancer, and minor operations services
• Assess and manage patients referred through the Two-Week Wait (2WW) pathway
• Conduct new patient and follow-up dermatology clinics
• Undertake minor operative procedures in dedicated MOPS sessions
• Participate in MDT discussions and contribute to treatment planning
• Review and respond to ward referrals as required
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with NHS standards
• Work collaboratively with nursing, medical, and multidisciplinary teams to support safe and effective patient care

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Specialist Register status in Dermatology (preferred)
• Relevant recent NHS Consultant Dermatology experience
• Experience managing skin cancer pathways, general dermatology clinics, and minor operations
• Excellent clinical judgement, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
