Finance Manager

We're working with a leading renewable energy client who are looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to join their finance team.

Job Title: FP&A Manager

Location: Glasgow/Perth- Hybrid working

Duration: 4 months contract with possible extension

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong experience across financial planning, forecasting, CapEx, cashflow and performance analysis, who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders and supporting a growing energy business.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead and support budgets, forecasts and long-term financial plans across the business.
• Manage and analyse capital expenditure, cashflow and financing performance.
• Prepare insightful financial and management reporting for senior leadership and finance stakeholders.
• Analyse variances, risks and opportunities and provide clear recommendations and insights.
• Support the development and maintenance of consolidated cashflow models.
• Work closely with Commercial Finance and wider business stakeholders to understand key financial assumptions.
• Support analysis of joint venture cashflows, equity requirements and financing activities.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate FP&A processes and reporting.

What we're looking for:

• Strong experience in FP&A / financial planning and analysis.
• Solid experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Strong understanding of CapEx and cashflow.
• Experience producing management reports and presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across a complex organisation.
• Experience within energy, renewables, infrastructure, utilities or another project-based environment would be beneficial.
