Associate Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A highly regarded construction consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Associate Project Manager to strengthen their Project Management team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Associate Project Manager looking to take on a senior position within a business delivering high-profile projects across 12 different core sectors.

The Associate Project Manager will initially be involved in a major student accommodation project alongside an impressive regeneration scheme. With a senior member of the team due to go on maternity leave in the coming months, they are particularly interested in an Associate Project Manager who can hit the ground running, lead key client relationships and provide senior-level support across the team. This provides the Associate Project Manager with an opportunity to establish themselves quickly and play an influential role within the consultancy.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Associate Project Manager’s role

The Associate Project Manager will lead the delivery of major construction projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.

Alongside hands-on project delivery, the role will involve overseeing programmes, procurement and project strategy, managing risk, leading meetings and ensuring projects achieve their commercial and programme objectives.

There will also be opportunities to support junior Project Managers, contribute to team development and become increasingly involved in client growth and wider business initiatives.

The Associate Project Manager

The successful Associate Project Manager will ideally have:

• Significant Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy
• A proven track record delivering substantial construction projects
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management experience
• Experience within residential, student accommodation, regeneration or major developments
• The ability to lead project teams and mentor junior colleagues
• A relevant construction or Project Management degree
• Ideally MAPM, MRICS, MCIOB or another relevant professional qualification
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
