About the role

This warm and welcoming Coventry nursery is seeking a part‑time Nursery Practitioner for three days a week. With her experience supporting young children in early years settings, she creates calm routines, delivers structured play activities and helps children feel safe, settled and ready to explore. Moreover, her SEND experience allows her to adapt tasks, provide nurturing guidance and respond confidently to varied developmental needs throughout the day. Although a qualification is ideal, strong hands‑on nursery experience will also be considered.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • EYFS support that strengthens early learning
  • Play‑based activities that build confidence and communication
  • SEND‑inclusive practice delivered through calm, structured routines
  • Personal care support including feeding, hygiene and naptime
  • Outdoor learning delivered safely and purposefully
  • Close teamwork with practitioners and room leaders

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Ideally qualified: Level 2/3 (preferred)
  • Strong nursery experience
  • SEND experience
  • Calm, nurturing and adaptable approach
  • Confidence supporting early development
  • Part‑time availability (3 days a week)
  • Interest in Coventry‑based nursery roles
