About the role
- Experience of leading a team within a school environment
- Be fully up to date with pedagogy and research in delivering high quality experiences to SEMH young people
- Experience of reporting on data and identifying patterns as well as recommending solutions to enhance the area of responsibility
- Experience of developing options and alternatives that will support young people to engage in the learning process
- Experience of current assessment practice and the use of data and pupil progress tracking to ensure that all learners achieve
- A genuine appreciation of the potential barriers to a pupil’s learning, and sensitivity towards their circumstances and life experiences
