Salary: Band B (NJC 3) Actual Salary: £9,518 per annum / £793 gross per month.
Contract: Permanent. All Year Round.
Hours: 13 hours 45 minutes Monday – Friday 3.00pm – 5.45pm.
Closing Date: Monday 12th October 2026 at 9am.
Start Date: As soon as your notice period allows.

We are looking to appoint a hard-working and dedicated School Cleaner to join our friendly and supportive school community. This is an important role in helping to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a range of cleaning duties throughout the school to ensure that our children’s learning environment is maintained to a high standard. Duties will include cleaning classrooms, offices, toilets, communal areas and outdoor space, as well as the safe use of cleaning equipment and materials.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable and enjoys working independently.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in cleaning duties and knowledge of best practices in cleaning.
• Ability to work under own initiative without supervision.
• Aware of the importance of providing a quality service and satisfying the cleaning requirements of the school.
• Aware of importance of hygiene in the workplace.
• Ability to work on your own and to work as part of a team.
• A ‘Can do attitude’
