Hours of Work: 32.5 hours per week, worked between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm, term time only,

with flexibility to support with after school events and open evenings when required.

Full-Time Equivalent Salary: Grade 3, £27,254-£33,699, Pro Rata (Actual Salary): £21,311-£26,351

Working closely with the Catering Manager, you will help lead the day to day catering operation, supervising the catering team and maintaining high standards of food quality, service, hygiene and compliance.

At Bishop Challoner Catholic College we pride our ourselves on the progressive nature of our catering operation. We currently service approximately 1200 pupils across three retail areas, inclusive of our dedicated Sixth Form catering provision. We are a busy school and see the importance of a sustainable catering offer to our pupils for breakfast, morning break and lunch. Bishop Challoner Catholic College is a highly successful, heavily over-subscribed mixed 11-19 Catholic comprehensive school in the South of Birmingham. We were designated one of the first 100 Teaching Schools in the country and we are also a lead school for the Central Maths Hub and the Schools Sports Partnership.
