Salary: WeST Grade C (scp 5-7) £25,583 - £26,403 FTE (pay award pending)

Hours: 37 hours per week x 52 weeks per annum (all year round)

Alternate shift patterns:

Monday - Thursday, 6.30am - 3.00pm. Friday 6.30am - 2.30pm

Monday - Thursday, 1.30pm - 10.00pm, Friday, 2.00pm - 9.30pm

Start Date: As soon as possible

The Caretaker role supports the effective operation of the trust and works to uphold and promote its vision and values.

To provide general concierge service, maintenance and repairs to ensure that the premises buildings and grounds are safe, clean, secure and maintained to the high standards required. The post holder is expected to be a sympathetic professional towards the pupils of the school, the ethos the staff have developed and to carry out their duties accordingly. The post holder must be a good communicator and be able to work both flexibly and under pressure as part of a busy team.

The Caretaker generally carries out cleaning of spillages, grounds weeding & hedge trim, handy person duties, maintenance, waste disposal, porterage and minor repairs and must have practical skills and experience.
