My busy client is looking for someone to assist them with some Telemarketing for 4 weeks

Temporary Customer Service & Telesales Assistant
Dorking | Office Based | Part-Time | 3 Days per Week
£13–£15 per hour depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a friendly, confident and organised Temporary Customer Service & Telesales Assistant to join a busy team for an initial 4-week period, with the possibility of an extension.

Working 3 days per week (ideally Monday–Wednesday, up to 21 hours), you’ll be speaking to customers and potential customers by telephone and email, answering questions and helping people through an online entry/submission process.

The Role Your main responsibilities will include:

• Calling previous and potential customers
• Following up with people who have started but not completed an online submission
• Answering questions and providing information clearly and confidently
• Helping customers navigate an online platform and complete their submission
• Following up by email with relevant information and links
• Maintaining accurate records of calls, outcomes and follow-ups
• Managing a database and keeping information up to date
• Escalating technical or more complex queries where required
• Working towards agreed call and conversion targets

About You We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, confident and comfortable on the phone
• Naturally personable with a good telephone manner
• Organised, proactive and able to manage follow-ups
• Confident communicating with people internationally
• Comfortable explaining processes and helping people online
• Accurate with data entry and administration
• Confident using email, Excel and online systems
• Professional and reliable

Previous experience in telesales, telemarketing, customer service, call handling or a similar telephone-based role would be beneficial.
Speaking an additional language would be a bonus, but is not essential.
Full training will be provided.

The Details
Location: Dorking – office based
Hours: 3 days per week, ideally Monday–Wednesday
Hours per week: Up to 21
Contract: Initially 4 weeks, with potential to extend
Start: ASAP
Working hours: Flexible between 8.00am and 5.30pm
