EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR – 5+ PQE – DEVON / SOMERSET – £Excellent + Benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE to join the expanding Litigation team of a highly regarded regional law firm.

This is a role with genuine scope. The firm is looking for someone who wants more than simply managing a caseload and is keen to play a key role in developing and growing an employment offering across the business.

The Role

Joining an established and successful regional firm with a strong reputation and loyal client base, you will handle a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters while taking an active role in developing the practice.

You will have the opportunity to:

Manage a varied employment caseload, advising both businesses and individuals.
Develop and grow the firm's employment law offering.
Build and strengthen existing client relationships.
Identify and develop new business opportunities.
Work closely with colleagues across the firm's Devon and Somerset offices to generate referrals and cross-departmental opportunities.
Become involved in marketing, networking and wider business development initiatives.
Have real input into the future direction and strategy of the employment practice.
The Candidate

The successful candidate will be a qualified Employment Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE and solid experience across a range of employment matters.

You will need to be commercially minded, confident dealing directly with clients and comfortable with business development. The ability and desire to develop a practice area is important, as this is a position offering considerable autonomy and visibility.

A client following would be advantageous but is not essential.
