About the Role

A well-established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (10+ PQE) to join its growing Private Client team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer looking to manage a high-quality caseload while playing a key role in the continued development of a successful department. The position offers exposure to a broad range of private client matters, working with individuals, families, business owners, and high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of private client matters from instruction to completion.
• Advising on wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, and inheritance tax planning.
• Providing guidance on succession planning and wealth preservation strategies.
• Handling lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters.
• Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships.
• Supporting and mentoring junior fee earners and support staff.
• Assisting with business development and networking initiatives.
• Ensuring the highest standards of client care and technical excellence.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 10+ years' PQE in Private Client law.
• Strong experience across wills, probate, trusts, tax planning, and estate administration.
• Ability to manage complex matters independently.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Supervisory or mentoring experience desirable.
• STEP qualification or progress towards STEP advantageous.
• Commercially minded with an interest in business development.
