Position Title: IPT Scheduler

Reports to (Position): Head of Project Management
Functional Lead (Position): Head of Project Management
Hours of work Or Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours. Flexi-time.

Position Description
Collaborate with Programme Managers and business functions to plan, develop and manage the schedules for long duration, complex Projects.

Core Duties
1. Planning: Consult with Programme Managers and internal departments to understand the structure, sequence and relationships of project and programme schedules.
2. Schedule Development: Develop schedules that accurately reflect the sequence of activities, durations, resources and critical paths to deliver projects and programmes.
3. Schedule Baseline Management: Control configuration of Project Baseline Schedules.
4. Schedule Maintenance: Collaborate with internal departments to maintain the schedules: update progress, record actual durations and adjust sequencing as required.
5. Assessment: Evaluate schedule performance, to identify deviations, conflicts and potential delays.
6. Reporting: Report schedule performance to Project and Programme Managers, along with potential corrective actions.
7. Schedule Integration: Manage the integration of schedules for linked projects and programmes.
8. Issue identification: Identify issues including conflicts, constraints and invalid assumptions.

Functional Knowledge 
- Proven work experience as a Project Scheduler on complex projects
- Certification as a scheduling professional would be advantageous (PMI-SP for example)
- Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment would be highly beneficial
- Proficiency in project scheduling software, preferably MS Project, is essential
- Experience working with SAP - or a similar ERP - would be highly beneficial
