Behaviour & Inclusion Coordinator

Main Purpose

To support and develop the school’s targeted behaviour and SEMH provision, coordinating the Behaviour Support removal room and ensuring effective early intervention, reducing barriers to learning to support an inclusive school culture in line with the school’s Inclusion Strategy.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Behaviour Provision & Removal Room Coordination

• Lead and manage the school’s internal exclusion / removal room provision (known as Behaviour Support)
• Ensure the space operates as a reflective, structured intervention environment, not solely punitive
• Develop clear systems for:
  • Referral;
  • Supervision;
  • Reintegration planning
  • Support students to successfully transition back into lessons

  - Behaviour Data & Analysis

  • Monitor, analyse and report on behaviour data trends relating to the use of Behaviour Support
  • Identify:
    • Patterns of need (e.g. SEMH, SEND, vulnerable groups)
    • Repeat behaviours and escalation indicators
    • Provide regular reports to SLT to inform strategic decision-making
    • Evaluate the impact of behaviour interventions
