Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fit-Out Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of commercial interior fit-out projects. The successful candidate will take responsibility for site operations, health and safety, quality, programme, subcontractor management and client coordination from mobilisation through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the fit-out site.

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades and site operatives.

• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

• Manage site logistics, deliveries, materials and plant.

• Review and implement RAMS, permits and site procedures.

• Monitor progress against the construction programme and report any delays or issues.

• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Contracts Manager, consultants and client representatives.

• Chair and attend site meetings as required.

• Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure snagging is effectively managed.

• Maintain accurate site records, diaries and progress reports.

• Ensure all works comply with drawings, specifications, building regulations and project requirements.

• Manage subcontractor performance and coordinate sequencing of works.

• Lead the project through to practical completion, snagging and handover.

• Promote a strong health, safety and environmental culture across the site.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial fit-out/refurbishment.

• Strong knowledge of CAT A and/or CAT B fit-out projects.

• SMSTS.

• CSCS qualification/card appropriate to the role.

• First Aid at Work.

• Strong understanding of health & safety, RAMS and site compliance.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades.

• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work to demanding programmes and deadlines.

• Relevant construction experience, ideally within commercial, office, retail or hospitality fit-out.
