The Role

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will play a key role in managing repairs from initial assessment through to completion, ensuring customers receive an exceptional service throughout the repair journey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing vehicle damage and capturing images for repair estimates.
• Producing accurate estimates using industry-leading estimating systems.
• Liaising with customers, insurers, work providers, and repair teams throughout the process.
• Monitoring repairs and updating estimates as work progresses.
• Working closely with technicians to ensure all repair requirements are captured.
• Completing final job reconciliations and preparing work for invoicing.
• Maintaining excellent levels of customer service and communication.

What We're Looking For

• Experience within the automotive, vehicle repair, bodyshop, estimating, or accident repair sector is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment.
• Flexible, hands-on approach and a strong work ethic.
• Experience using estimating systems such as Audatex would be beneficial but training can be provided.
