A welcoming and well-regarded one-form entry primary school near Birdham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis with an immediate start available.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys helping pupils thrive during this important stage of their primary education. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a settled and engaged Year 6 class and work alongside a supportive leadership team committed to achieving the best outcomes for every child.
The Role

Full teaching responsibility for a Year 6 class
Planning, preparation and marking required
Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across the curriculum
Support pupils in preparation for SATs whilst maintaining a positive learning environment
Work collaboratively with experienced colleagues and senior leaders
Participate fully in school life and contribute to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Year 6 experience desirable but not essential
Strong classroom management skills
Passionate about raising attainment and supporting pupil progress
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
