Medical Device Service Engineer

GL1, Gloucester, Gloucestershire Quality Start Medical Device Service Engineer – Gloucester Opportunity: Do you have experience in designing the processes, documentation, training, and workflows required for the proper delivery, installation, support, and servicing of medical device products? Do you have experience of Cloud solution products? Looking for a contract role with an exciting global pharmaceutical / medical device company? If yes then this is the role for you. Your role as a Medical Device Service Engineer will involve designing the processes, documentation, training, and workflows required for the proper delivery, installation, support, and servicing of products and then executing the design transfer of the product’s service design to operations. You will provide hands-on technical support during the design and post surveillance phase. Duties and responsibilities include: * Developing /administering Service Engineering documentation through the entire product lifecycle. * Participating in pre-sale activities, as needed. * Developing / administering the training to the relevant teams. * Tier 3 support for handling customer escalations. * Working to FDA, ISO, IEC design control procedures, regulations, and standards ensuring appropriate design controls are being adhered to during engineering efforts and new product development. * Participating in the decomposition of system requirements to derived requirements. This is a 6 months contract role which will be reviewed for a possible extension or go permanent however this is all dependent on the individual and business performance. The PAYE rate is £26.54. Skills: To apply for role of Medical Device Service Engineer you will have the following: * Intermediate to advance level with Word and Excel. * Experience with tracking systems such as DevOps, Jira, etc. * Strong knowledge of engineering disciplines in an in R&D environment and solid knowledge of related disciplines. * Medical device experience. * Experience of Cloud solution products.
