Finance Assistant. Bolton. c£30k doe

A successful and established firm in the building/construction trade are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant – who can take on all of the day to day Finance and Accounts duties in a standalone capacity – someone who can hit the ground running. There will also be other duties more along the lines of Administration/Office Management;

• Accounts payable and receivable
• Credit control
• Weekly payroll for subcontractors (payroll and CIS knowledge desirable)
• Bank reconciliations
• Processing tax returns
• Cost analysis reports
• Processing expenses
• Answering incoming phone calls
• Booking plant for sites
• Ordering materials and office supplies
• Managing the vehicle fleet
• Looking after the companies various insurances and accreditations

To be successful, you will have a strong background in transactional accounts, be highly organised, have knowledge of Quickbooks and be familiar with Excel. A background in construction would also be an advantage.
