Pay: £12.71 per hour + £6.50 shift allowance per shift

Powder Coaters / Powder Coating Operatives – Dudley

 

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Powder Coater to join a busy and established manufacturing business based in Dudley.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an automatic powder coating line, ensuring components are prepared and coated correctly and that finished products meet the required quality standards.

 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Powder Coater, Powder Coating Operative or Paint Sprayer looking for a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.

 

The Role

As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for:

• Operating an automatic powder coating line
  
  
• Loading and unloading metal components onto the production line
  
  
• Preparing components prior to powder coating
  
  
• Applying powder coating to the required specification
  
  
• Monitoring the coating process and making adjustments where required
  
  
• Inspecting finished products for quality and consistency
  
  
• Identifying any defects or imperfections
  
  
• Ensuring production targets and quality standards are maintained
  
  
• Following company health and safety procedures
  
  
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area
  
  
• Working as part of a busy manufacturing and production team
  
  

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Powder Coater or Powder Coating Operative
  
  
• Experience working on an automatic powder coating line
  
  
• Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or metal finishing environment
  
  
• Good attention to detail and quality awareness
  
  
• The ability to work at pace within a production environment
  
  
• A reliable and hardworking attitude
  
  
• Good attendance and timekeeping
  
  
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  
  
• Experience with powder coating metal components is highly desirable.

• £32.50 additional shift allowance per week based on a 5-day week
