Job Description

Salary: Grade E - £35,570 - £38,510 per annum (rising by annual increments to £38,510)

Hours of work: Full-time 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent 

Location: The service encourages flexible working and is open to flexible working options. The centre of duty will be agreed with the successful candidate depending on what suits them with the flexibility to work from home / DWFRS Stations / Support Offices and we would welcome a conversation with the successful candidate on what type of flexible working arrangement will work best for you. There will be a requirement to attend your service premises approximately 3 days a month for key activities and meetings

As a Systems and Data Analyst in our Data and Analytics department you will:
•    Maintain and develop management information systems within the principles of good governance
•    Ensure that data and associated user systems are accurate, timely and consistent to support sound decision-making, undertaking the role of Information Asset Owner under the HMG Security Policy Framework
•    Analyse and evaluate complex data to provide reports and advice to managers at all levels to improve Service performance
•    Ensure that systems and data are migrated in a well-structured and managed way

What makes you our ideal Systems and Data Analyst?
•    Experience of working with and manipulating datasets and databases 
•    Experience of analysing complex data 
•    Technical working knowledge of data management 
•    Experience of working to data protection and confidentiality procedures
•    Competent user of MS office or other software to produce documents, spreadsheets, and produce reports

You must be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the role. Travel requirements are attending your service premises approximately 3 days a month for key activities and meetings.
