Year 1 Primary Teacher

I am recruitinig for a teacher to work in a primary school in Gravesend, Kent. This is a maternity cover role, so the expectation is for the role to be until July 2027. If there was a staffing need for the 2027/28 academic year, this could be made into a permanent role.  • Year 1 • Primary Teacher (QTS) • Fulltime • Main Pay Scale We are looking for a quality first teaching practitioner who: • Has QTS (qualified teacher status). • Has a passion for delivering skills and knowledge through an interactive approach. • Has a good understanding of learning through discovery and investigation.  • Enjoys celebrating the progress children make. • Has excellent interpersonal skills to ensure home school links are strong. • Works well and thrives within a team led environment. • Has high expectations of themselves and the children. The successful candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including: eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS disclosure and full references including one from your most recent employer.
