Machine Operator / Warehouse OperativeJob Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator / Warehouse Operative to join our client’s busy production and warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, handling materials safely, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure the smooth flow of goods throughout the production and distribution process.

This role requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and health and safety.

Working Hours

Rotating shifts:

• 06:00 – 14:00
• 14:00 – 22:00

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently in line with company procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and report faults or issues to supervisors.
• Carry out routine quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Load, unload, move, and store materials within the warehouse.
• Assist with packing, labelling, and preparing products for dispatch.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, ensuring goods are handled accurately and safely.
• Utilise warehouse management systems to track stock movements and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory management when required.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and quality procedures at all times.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment preferred.
• Experience operating production machinery is desirable but not essential.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to production targets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic numerical and literacy skills.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving materials safely.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with a positive attitude towards work.
