Technology Integration Specialist

EC2A, Finsbury Square, Greater London Ncounter Limited Technology Integration Specialist £130,000–£150,000 London | Hybrid | Permanent Ncounter is working with a global investment business looking for a senior technologist to drive large-scale engineering and infrastructure initiatives across a complex, high-performance environment. This isn't a traditional Project Manager position. We're looking for someone who has built technology themselves, potentially as a Software Developer, SRE, DevOps or Platform Engineer, and has progressed into owning major technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams. You'll combine hands-on technical credibility with responsibility for scoping, coordinating and delivering projects across platform and infrastructure. You should be comfortable discussing architecture with senior engineers, understanding dependencies and technical blockers, while bringing the structure needed to accelerate delivery and keep complex programmes moving. The underlying function owns major application and infrastructure rollouts, migrations and high-impact technical change. What we're looking for: * Strong background in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE or Software Engineering * Deep understanding of Kubernetes, containers and modern infrastructure * Experience with Docker, Terraform and/or Ansible * CI/CD knowledge across tooling such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or ArgoCD * Strong Linux knowledge and experience working across AWS, GCP or Azure * Observability experience with technologies such as Prometheus or Grafana * Scripting or software development capability, ideally Python or Go * Experience leading complex technical projects involving multiple engineering teams * Ability to manage delivery, dependencies and priorities while working with senior stakeholders This role needs someone technical enough that they could confidently stand up and troubleshoot a greenfield Kubernetes environment themselves but experienced enough to step beyond individual engineering tasks and drive delivery at scale. It could suit an experienced Platform SME, Staff Engineer or technical engineering lead who wants broader ownership without moving away from technology.
