Early Years Learning Support Assistant (TA3)

Scale:  Grade 3 Points 5 - 9 

Hours:  35 hours per week for 39 weeks per year, 8am-3:30pm 

Actual Salary: £25,400  - £26,886 p.a (FTE £30,408 - £32,187 p.a.)

Contract:  Permanent

Start:  from November 2026

We are looking for a kind, patient person to join our dedicated enthusiastic team of Learning Support Assistants to support children within our nurturing Early Years Team.  Candidates must have a Level 3 qualification for the EYFS or equivalent. Candidates must have experience of working with children with SEND. Experience of working with children who are neurodiverse is essential.

The role is for 35 hours per week, 8am to 3.30pm with 30 minutes lunchbreak - these times are non-negotiable.

We are looking for someone who is caring, has a good understanding of early childhood development (ages 3 - 5)  and a positive outlook. The successful candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.  If you have good communication skills, are friendly and resilient and have an aptitude for working with young children then please contact us to visit our setting.                              

The School is a 2 form entry Primary School.  We have our own Nursery provision. The School is well resourced and has a friendly supportive staff.  We have enthusiastic, hard working children who enjoy learning.  There is a strong partnership between governors, staff, parents, pupils and the local community.  We value continuous professional learning, development and improvement.
