Caretaker

We are looking for a positive, practical and dependable Caretaker to join our friendly site team at Anthony Gell School in Wirksworth.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same. Working with our Premises Manager and wider site team, you will help keep our school safe, clean, welcoming and ready for learning every day. From looking after buildings and grounds, responding to day-to-day site issues and moving equipment, to supporting security, events and lettings, you will play an important part in the smooth running of the whole school.

Anthony Gell School is an 11-18 school at the heart of the Wirksworth community, set in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales. Our school places considerable importance on pastoral care and creating a supportive and inspiring environment where young people are treated as individuals, encouraged to be aspirational and given opportunities to thrive.
