Hillcroft Primary School is looking for a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working closely with the Headteacher and teaching staff, you'll play a vital role in helping every child thrive. From delivering engaging planned lessons to supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, you'll be at the heart of creating a positive, inclusive and inspiring learning experience for all.

What we are looking for

• Hold relevant qualifications, including a good general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above) and an HLTA qualification (or willingness to undertake)
• Have experience in supporting and delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning 
• Be skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies, managing behaviour effectively, and supporting pupils' emotional and academic development.
• Demonstrate strong organisational skills, including preparing resources, maintaining pupil records, and contributing to classroom planning.
• Show excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, working well with colleagues, children, and parents.
• Be motivated, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding. P
