Wallace Fields Infant School is seeking an exceptional and ambitious Deputy Headteacher to join our dedicated leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and inspirational school leader to work alongside the Headteacher in shaping the strategic direction of the school, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring every child receives an outstanding educational experience.

The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting high standards of teaching, learning and assessment, supporting staff development, and fostering a positive, inclusive and nurturing school culture. They will be committed to raising achievement for all pupils, ensuring safeguarding remains at the heart of school life, and working collaboratively with staff, parents, governors and the wider community to achieve the best possible outcomes for children.

We are looking for a talented leader with a proven track record of successful leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing both pupils and staff. The role offers the opportunity to lead on whole-school improvement initiatives, mentor and develop colleagues, and deputise for the Headteacher when required. The successful candidate will share our commitment to excellence, inclusion and continuous professional growth, helping to build on the school's strengths and aspirations for the future. Based on the role profile, the Deputy Headteacher will support school improvement, safeguarding, curriculum leadership, staff development, resource management and the overall strategic leadership of the school.
