About the role
GATEPERSON REQUIRED – BURY
We are currently looking for an experienced Gateperson / Traffic Marshal to join a busy construction site in Bury.

Position: Gateperson / Traffic Marshal
Rate: £17 per hour
Start: ASAP
Duration: TBC
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site entrance, controlling access and assisting with the safe movement of vehicles and deliveries on and off site.
Duties include:
- Controlling access to and from the site
- Managing deliveries and directing vehicles
- Signing visitors and deliveries in and out
- Assisting with traffic management around the site
- Ensuring pedestrians and vehicles are kept safely separated
- Communicating with site management and delivery drivers
- Keeping the site entrance clean and organised
- Carrying out general labouring duties when required
- Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous Gateperson / Traffic Marshal experience
- Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksperson ticket
- CSCS card preferred/required depending on site
- Full PPE
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work safely in a busy construction environment
£17 per hour – Bury
