Early Years Teaching Assistant

Cannock, West Midlands, United Kingdom St Anne's Catholic Primary School We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Level 3 qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team on a part-time, fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027.

Working with our Nursery children during lunchtime, you will play an important role in creating a safe, happy and nurturing environment. You will support children with their lunchtime routines, encourage independence and positive social interaction, promote good manners and ensure their wellbeing throughout the lunch period.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or a relevant discipline.
• Have experience of working with young children, ideally within an Early Years setting.
• Be caring, patient and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for supporting young children.
• Be able to build positive, trusting relationships with children.
• Support children with eating, hygiene, independence and social interaction.
• Encourage positive behaviour and good manners.
• Work effectively as part of a supportive Early Years team.
• Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Actual Salary: £3,856 - £3,979
Working hours: 6.5 hours - 38 weeks plus 5 inset days - 30 weeks to cover Nursery lunches
