The Role

Depending on the assignment, your responsibilities may include:

• Teaching engaging lessons across Key Stage 2
• Following existing planning for short-term cover
• Planning and delivering lessons for longer-term placements
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Differentiating learning to meet a range of pupil needs
• Managing classroom behaviour positively and consistently
• Assessing pupil understanding and progress where required
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school colleagues
• Following school safeguarding policies and procedures

The Ideal Candidate

We’d like to hear from teachers who:

• Hold UK QTS or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching within a primary setting
• Understand the KS2 curriculum
• Build positive relationships with pupils quickly
• Have confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Are adaptable, dependable and professional
• Are committed to safeguarding and supporting positive pupil outcomes
