We are looking for experienced, committed and adaptable individuals to support progress and learning for children with EHCPs/complex SEND needs.  Northwood Community Primary School is a supportive and collaborative place to work. The role will include working with children to support them in the following ways:

• To support learning needs across the four areas of SEND
• To support sensory regulation and behaviour
• To be aware of EHCP outcomes/targets for the children
• To support our wider school by participating in an after-school club / breakfast club
• To interact with parents/carers appropriately under direction of class teacher/phase lead
• To undertake relevant training and CPD
• To contribute to any other appropriate aspect of school life as directed by the Headteacher

You must:

• Be caring, patient and adaptable
• Hold an NQT Level 2 or above TA qualification or have relevant experience
• Be committed to high expectations of pupils in terms of learning and behaviour
• Be able to use ICT to support learning
• Fully committed to upholding all aspects of our safeguarding policy and procedures (KCSIE, 2026)
