Job Title: Fire Alarm Installation Engineer

Rate: £220 per day

Are you a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer based in Reading looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of fire alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites, ensuring all works are completed to the highest standard and in line with current regulations. Responsibilities:

* Carry out first and second fix installation of Advanced fire alarm systems on site.
* Install cable runs, detection devices, call points, and control panels in line with design drawings.
* Ensure all installation work complies with BS 5839 and relevant industry standards.
* Liaise with site management and other trades to ensure works progress on schedule.
* Maintain a clean, safe working environment and adhere to site health and safety requirements.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, with hands-on knowledge of Advanced fire alarm systems.
* Competence in first and second fix installation, including cabling, devices, and panel installation.
* Ability to read and work from installation drawings and specifications.
* Full UK driving licence.
* ECS or CSCS card (required).
* FIA qualification (desirable).
