A specialist garden rooms contractor delivering high-quality projects for private homeowners across the South East is seeking an experienced Carpentry Supervisor / Project Lead to join its growing team. This role would suit an established carpenter or site supervisor who enjoys taking ownership of projects, coordinating trades and maintaining high standards on site, while still remaining hands-on when required. Working on multiple projects simultaneously, you will oversee installations from site setup through to final handover, ensuring excellent customer service and workmanship throughout.

Key Responsibilities as a Carpentry Supervisor:

• Oversee multiple garden room projects across the South East region
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
• Work closely with internal teams to plan project schedules and installation programmes
• Organise materials, plant and subcontractor activities for each project
• Act as the main point of contact for homeowners throughout the build process
• Carry out site inspections, quality checks and final snagging activities
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements across all sites
• Provide hands-on carpentry and site support when required to assist project delivery

Experience Required:

• Background in carpentry, joinery or timber frame construction
• Experience supervising site-based construction or building projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Strong customer-facing communication skills
• Good understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination
• Experience working with subcontractors and suppliers
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South East
