Job Title: Security Service Engineer

Rate: £220 per day

Are you a Security Service Engineer based in Huddersfield looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault finding of security systems across a range of commercial and residential sites, ensuring all equipment is operating to the highest standard and in line with client requirements. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive servicing on security systems including intruder alarms, access control, door entry, and CCTV.
* Diagnose and resolve faults across a range of security systems in a timely and efficient manner.
* Complete accurate service records and reports following all site visits.
* Liaise with clients on site to communicate findings, manage expectations, and maintain strong working relationships.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant industry standards and health and safety requirements.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Minimum 20 years of hands-on experience in security system servicing and fault finding.
* Proven experience working with access control, door entry, intruder alarm, and CCTV systems.
* Ability to fault find and diagnose issues across multiple system types and manufacturers.
* Full UK driving licence.
* SIA licence (desirable).
* NSI or SSAIB recognised installer certification (desirable).
