Job Title: Security Service Engineer
Location: Warrington / North West
Rate: £220 per day

Are you a Security Service Engineer based in the North West looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of security systems — including Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and CCTV — across a range of commercial and residential sites throughout the North West region. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits on Intruder Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems.
* Diagnose and resolve faults across a range of security equipment to minimise system downtime.
* Complete accurate and timely service records and reports following each site visit.
* Liaise with customers on-site to communicate fault findings, works completed, and any recommendations.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant industry standards and health and safety requirements.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Minimum 15 years' experience in the service and maintenance of security systems.
* Proven hands-on experience with Intruder Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems.
* Familiarity with a range of manufacturers and platforms across all three disciplines.
* Full UK driving licence.
* NSI or SSAIB-recognised installer/engineer qualification (desirable).
* FIA or equivalent fire and security industry certification (desirable).
